REVIEW : Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Hydrogel Eye Patches

Good day everyone. I am back to do another review about this pretty product. If you belong to the skincare community, this product is all over my feed. Truth be told, I always gush and stare at its beauty. What I am talking about is the Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Hydrogel Eye Patches. Luckily, I was kindly gifted by GoBloomandGlow to test these out. ^ ^ Yay to that, right? Well, let's keep this going.

What is it about?
This is described as a multi-functional product as it gives extra care and moisture to our eye area, eyebrows part, smile lines and the cheeks as well. It is infused with Bulgarian rose water to recharge the skin and boost moisture. Mainly it has two main benefits that are anti-wrinkle and brightening synergistic effects. It also claims that it performs well much better than using an eye cream. The best part of this product is it's 100% safe to use since it's a water soluble kind of eye patch and doesn't contain any harmful ingredients.

How To Use This?
After cleansing and toning your face, place the eye patch on the desired facial area. Use the spatula in scooping the product out of the tub.  Leave it on for 20-30 minutes then remove it afterwards.

Another alternative is you can use this as an essence.
How to do it? Put some eye patches on an empty glass. Pour some hot water and naturally they will dissolve since they are water soluble. Viola, you have now your own diy essence.

My Snapshots Of This Product

The hydrogel patches look semi-transparent when put under the eyes.

PROS
  • First and foremost, this hydrogel eyepatches are the prettiest I've seen so far both in person and on my Instagram feed. They shine and glitter especially when light hits them.
  • The size of the tub is pretty big as it contains 60 pieces inside.
  •  In addition, I like that these patches are very versatile enough as you can put them anywhere on the face and even on the neck. It also has some rich essence so you can put the excess on other parts of the skin that need hydration.
  • I have to mention also that they give me this cooling and refreshing sensation. An added bonus especially when used at night, it helps me to relax my eye area.
  • As a first time user of hydrogel patches, somehow they are a good alternative to using the normal eye cream.
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY, these patches help in depuffing my eyebags. They look less swollen and somehow in a better situation.

CONS
  •  I'll have to be honest that I really had a hard time scooping out the products using the spatula. They are just so slipper and hard to get a hold of quickly.
  • I had a hard figuring out how to put the patches under my eye. If the rounder one will be put on the inner corner of my eye or the other way around.
  • These patches seem to slide around the skin and don't seem to remain in place.
  • Hydration effect was pretty ok but not very long lasting to my liking.
  • When it comes to the wrinkle care, dark circles and the rest, I am sad to say these don't help at all.

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I can clearly say that it's still a lovely experience after all. As a first time user of eye patches, I am pretty satisfied and happy especially these don't sting the eye. My under eye situation somehow improves gradually.

*Will I continue to use these? Oh yes definitely. On days I don't feel like using my eye cream then this product can be a good substitute.

*Will I buy this again? Yes if goes on sale.

*I'd like to say my heartfelt gratitude to GoBloomAndGlow and Heimish Korea for this chance. You can visit them respectively for more lovely products. Till next time and continue to shine and glow. Take care.

Product Empties # 26 My Lucky Seven

It's another round of product empties for me. It's the series where I showcase the products I've used up and all that jazz. I'll collected them for quite some time now. Let's do the counting in 3, 2 and 1.

Product Empties # 26 : My Lucky Seven Products

1.) A Bonne  Milk Power Lightening Lotion with Collagen

This is a concentrated milk lotion that protects your skin from the UV rays and gives it a healthy glow. It's light, non-greasy and easily absorbed by the skin. This has yogurt and milk protein that double the effectiveness in giving you a younger look with  bright, soft and smooth skin. It also has collagen that improves skin's firmness, reduces wrinkles and enhances skin elasticity.

VERDICT: I like this lotion a lot. One because it's cheap and makes my skin soft. Two, it lasts a long time actually. When it comes to lightening, it  does the job gradually. I'll repurchase this soon.

2.) 24 Hours Urban Escape Toner by Jill2

This toner has Jill's advanced formula to protect our skin from all various kinds of pollutants that damage the skin especially the face. It's a lightweight toner that's easily absorbed by the skin. Perfect for doing the 7-skin step method.

VERDICT: Yes, it does the job very well. Makes the skin refreshed and awakened. It also gives this healthy glow. A winner absolutely.

3.) Piolang CP-1 Raspberry Treatment Vinegar

This is a hair and scalp treatment. It claims to get rid of flaky scalp and it also makes the hair shiny and healthy. It's very safe to use since this contains good nutrients. It also has this fruity raspberry scent to it. I've reviewed this before and click HERE to read more.

VERDICT: I used to like a lot before but not anymore.  Well, it does makes the hair smooth and shiny but the smell of this somehow lingers. As for the scalp area, it didn't do much and the effect is somehow temporary. I just used this up and that's about it.

4.) Whitening Milky Soft Cream by Onsaemeein

This is a soft cream that functions like a base for your makeup. It claims to give this instant whitening effect. It is designed for people who want to have an instant smooth and lighter skin complexion instantly. Well, I did review this one before and check it out HERE.

VERDICT: At first, I didn't like it because this cream is on the heavy side. Then I realized it can be a good primer during the day and night cream to boost whitening. Gladly it works.

TIP: Just start small since it takes time to be absorbed by the skin. A pea size amount will do and add more if desired. That way, you won't have any difficulty spreading it out evenly.

5.) Aloe Vera Soothing Gel by Nature Republic

Again, I've expressed my love this product. I like that it calms and moisturizes the skin leaving the skin cool and fresh. It has multiple uses and check this HERE to know more about this product.

VERDICT: Of course, I already have a back up of this. That's how much I love it. Well, there are many similar products to this but I still go back to this one. It's that good.

6.) Double Lasting Foundation by Etude House

This foundation by the name itself is meant to last long. :) Applying a thin layer of this claims to provide a perfect cover somehow making it look naturally flawless. For an in-depth review of this foundation, check HERE to read more.

VERDICT: I super like this product. One is because it lasts all day long. Two, it minimizes the shine on my face especially on the T-zone. Since it's that good, I just need a little bit of touch-ups throughout the day. I'm eyeing to have another backup of this one soon.

7.) Winage Moisture Eye Cream with Caviar and Truffle

This is a very light eye cream that feels very moisturizing and rich on the skin. It's gentle and gives this boost of hydration around the eye area. Since this has caviar and truffle, it has this good skincare vitamins that are essential for skin repair and anti-aging.

VERDICT: If this easily available in the market, then I'll highly repurchase this asap. It's pretty straightforward and does the job well.

That's a wrap. Those were my empties recently. How about yours? Let's share our product empties and I might learn a handful of good information from you guys. Till next time. Take care.

VLOG : Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort in Bohol

Welcome back to my blog guys. Today I'll highlight another experience featuring one of the famous beach resorts in Bohol. What I mean is the Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort in Bohol.

Where is it located?
It's located in Danao beach, Panglao island, Bohol. The place offers restaurant, meeting facilities, room services and tours as well. They have the hotel's outdoor pool, garden and a private beach.
Click HERE to know more about this beach resort.

My Top 5 Reasons Why We Truly Enjoyed Our Stay
1. Their Hospitality and Warm Smiles
I guess this has to be the top of my list. Their staff and crew are very welcoming, helpful and courteous. It literally felt our second home and the experience was absolutely made more special having them around.

2. The Foods
Of course, this one is also included in the list. Especially when you have their discounted vouchers, the meal set / buffet meal becomes cheaper. I believe food and quality are both not compromised and their restaurant also serves local and international dishes too. Best of both worlds I guess.

3. The serenity of the place
Hands down to this. Once you enter their reception area, I felt like I'm transported into this peaceful haven making me relax and just being one with nature. The serenity of the place calms me down and helps me to meditate and recharge. It's like a reset button.

4. The rooms
We were lucky to have good room facilities that cater to our needs and at the same it was located rightt in front of their outdoor pool making it a perfect location to hang out and have some tea. I have to mention the " Hanging Bed" style which actually elevated its style and comfort.

5. The whole place itself
I like the fact that they have two kinds of swimming pool and a private access to their beach as well. All these are well appreciated by guests like me since it will give more opportunities to explore the place and have different experiences as well. Something extra added always is a good idea.

REVIEW :Jeju Aloe Ice Refreshing Soothing Gel by The Face Shop

As you all know already that I've been a fan of  their soothing aloe gel for the longest time. I was on the hunt of trying something new and one day I saw this one in their physical store. I knew I just had to get it. Why? The idea of JEJU ALOE ICE totally caught my attention. Anyhow, let's continue this review.

What is it about?
This Jeju Aloe Refreshing Soothing Gel is formulated with aloe vera extract from Jeju to soothe and moisturize the skin. It's an innovative product from the gel consistency to like ice ( when placed in the freezer) that is especially formulated to people living in hot and humid places. This product can be used both on the face and all over the body. Also, this product can be used variously for moisturizing, soothing, like a facial pack and after-sun-care.

Here's the consistency of the product in a room temperature

TIP: For a  more  effective and  soothing  result, you may put this product refrigerated or in the freezer especially during hot summer days before actually using it to boost its effects. Here are the photos of the soothing gel after being chilled.

SIZE: It is 300 ml.
PRICE: It costs P250.
PACKAGING: It comes in this big tub that contains the product. It has a kind of lid that serves as its cover to minimize the product from spilling.
TEXTURE: It feels like a soft creamy texture in a normal room temperature. However, it turns into this slight thicker like a frozen yogurt. Something like that.

PROS
*It is quite reasonably priced in terms of its quantity and offers several uses on the skin.
*It is absorbed very quickly on the skin making the skin soft and hydrated.
* It feels gentle and is very lightweight.
* It gives this healthy texture on the skin making it glow somehow.
*Most importantly, it has many purposes so this makes it a winner in my opinion.

CONS
* It isn't travel-friendly as you can already see.
*The hydration effect can seem to be temporary so you need to double moisturize to boost moisture.

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I'm pretty satisfied with this product right here. It is really a staple for anyone looking for a  good soothing  gel  and is living in hot tropical countries like me. I  love  the cooling  sensation it gives to  my  skin. Also, I  can  tell my skin always  loves  this  product because  it has this healthy  and  hydrated texture. One  more  thing, this  has  longer lasting effect compared to the normal aloe soothing gel so I now get it why this is priced a bit higher. Will I recommend it? Oh  yes definitely. Also, if you have a matured  skin like mine, then use  this  one with  your other moisturizer to fully boost the hydration on the skin. It works better that way too.

Well, that's about it for me. Hope you find this helpful. Have you tried this product before? What is you go-to moisturizer? I would love to know your thoughts as well. Take care everyone. Always take care of yourself especially your skin.
