REVIEW: Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cream

Good day beautiful friends. I'm back with another review. This is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder. I was pretty curious about this because as you all know I've been a big fan of their powder version. This I believe is the cream version. Let's continue this review then.

What's it about?
This is the famous No Sebum Mineral Powder Cream.  This cream blends onto the skin so easily leaving a matte finish that feels so smooth and soft. Its main purpose is to minimize the appearance of sebum on the skin making our makeup last all day long. Also, this powder cream has 3 basic functions like a moisturizer, primer and sebum controller all rolled into one.

The product comes with a mini spatula.

I intentionally draw a line here to make sure I don't forget where I put the product.

Viola. The product is fully absorbed in the skin.

After, the left side of my hand feels smoother and softer. The pores and lines of my hand tend to look less visible.

KEY INGREDIENTS

* Green Tea Extracts - rich in antioxidants and amino acids that make the skin young and healthy

*Peppermint Leaves Extracts - cools down the skin. has anti-bacterial properties that heal and prevent future breakouts

SIZE: It is 25 g.
PACKAGING: The product comes in a mint colored plastic tub. It also comes with a small spatula. Labels about the product are written in English on the cover.
TEXTURE: It feels very smooth and quite thick which is similar to a whipped cream consistency. Once you put this on the skin,  it turns into this powder-like texture and just melts into the skin giving it a matte look.
SCENT: It has this slight hint of freshness ( a combination of citrus and floral scent together) which is very appealing to me. It smells relaxing and soothing at the same time.

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I'd say I'm not totally blown away with this product here as I have high hopes of using this one.  About the good points first, let me enumerate them one by one. First, it is effective as it claims to really reduce oiliness especially on T-zone area. I only need to do minimal touch ups which is a pretty good already. Second, it also helps in making the face smoother. My pores  looks smaller in some ways. Third, it did moisturize my face upon application.  

Now for the bad points, I'm not totally sure if it does what it claims to be a good moisturizer, primer and sebum controller all in one go. Maybe it does work well for young skin but not for matured skin.  Next, I did test this out with my hubby's skin. He has oily skin type. Unfortunately, it didn't help him minimize his oily T-zone area. This isn't good for oily skin type I believe.  Lastly, I tried using this over my foundation but it was messy and made my face oilier if that makes sense. I figured this should sit under makeup more comfortably. :)

REVIEW : Onsaemeein Magic Solution Skin Powder

Hello guys! I have here a good recommendation if you frequently experience pimples, acne and and skin breakouts. This product is part of a gift set that I got recently from Onsaemeein from Althea Korea. I'll put the link HERE if you fancy that. Anyhow going back to this product, I kid you not that it really works. Let's get to know more about this product then.

What's it about?

Onsaemeein Magic Solution Skin Powder is formulated for blemish care and a product that is soothing enough for troubled skin. It contains 3 major ingredients that help the skin. First, SALICYLIC ACID helps and gently removes dead skin cells. It also dissolves sebum in the pores and prevents further skin irritations. Second, DRYOPTERIS CRASSIRHIZOMA controls to help with skin vitality and clears our skin tone as well. Third, WITCH HAZEL EXTRACT helps with skin protection and for soothing care. It also claims that with one drop of this product before sleeping,  it will give a clear and clean skin after.

The ingredients

Scent : It has this slight hint of alcohol but it disappears once applied on the skin.

Packaging: It comes in this small glass bottle inside its own box. Nothing fancy and just pretty straightforward. I just hope it has a lid or cover to avoid spillage in case of emergency.

How to Apply?
Warning! Don't shake this product. Use a cotton bud  and put it in the Magic Solution Skin Powder when the liquid and pink powder are not mixed together. Then put it on the troubled skin area. Once applied, don't touch it and just let it dry.

My Overall Thoughts

I've used this twice and it works well.  I also did recommend this to my hubby and sister who frequently experience breakouts lately and it did work effectively for them too. In my observation, small pimples sometimes heal for 1 -2 days but for bigger ones, it  takes time to heal like about 3 to 5 days. The swollen part of the acne / pimple gets smaller and dries up overnight. If you ask me if it does help with whitening, that I don't see very clearly yet. Overall, I am still pretty satisfied with this product and I will definitely recommend it. For its price point, it's pretty good already and does the job beyond my expectations.

Product Empties # 20 : My Lucky Seven

Hello guys! I am now down to my Product Empties #20. Wow, that means a lot of products have been used up and loved definitely.  Let's go straight into my list.

1. White Caviar Illuminating Pearl Infusion Serum

It's actually a whitening serum that targets age spots, redness and grayness on the skin. It has white caviar pearls that help with recovering skin's luminosity.

VERDICT: A perfect skin investment indeed. It does the job directly and is also effective giving you that healthy skin glow.

2. Naturie Skin Conditioner

This is an all-around skin toner that can be both used for the face and body. This is good for brightening and moisturizing too. In addition, it has good ingredients to promote healthy skin cells for that young look.

VERDICT: A winner for me. Unfortunately, it's not easily available in the Philippines. Sad. If ever you go to Japan, buy a lot of this and you won't regret it. Trust me.

3. Skinfood Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake

This eyebrow powder creates beautiful and natural looking eyebrows. Its main ingredient is cocoa so we can be guaranteed it's safe to use in the eye area.

VERDICT: Yes to this. I use this to fill in my eyebrows. Also, I use this to contour the lines of my nose and contour my forehead and cheeks area. A multi-purpose product indeed. I have to repurchase this soon asap.

4. Aqua Blossom White Effect OLED Cream

This cream contains diamond powders that claim to bring a clear and pure skin from within. It also contains authentic whitening ingredients that promotes a brightening effect immediately.

VERDICT: Surprisingly, this product totally works. I use this on dark spot on my foot to really test this out. Viola, it did whiten it eventually since the dark skin cells really peel off. Interestingly amazing. 

TIP: If you use this on the face, put on a good amount of moisturizer and this OLED Cream to avoid dehydration. These two combination really maximizes the effect.

5. Torriden Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist

I got this product as part of the Dis A Pore box from Althea. It's this tiny green bottle that controls good things inside. Its function is to soothe and calm our pores and skin. It also absorbs excess sebum. Plus, you can use this for oily hair too.

VERDICT: Another winner on this list. Yehey.

6. Maybelline New York Face Studio V-Face Contouring Stick in Dark

This is a powerful combination with a contouring stick on one end and a highlighter in the other. It glides smoothly on the face. It claims to help you achieve 10% slimmer face.

VERDICT: I like this because it's very user friendly. Unfortunately, it isn't long lasting. Quite a good product though and I still recommend it.

7. Piolang  CP-1 Raspberry Treatment Vinegar

This is actually a hair vinegar that has many purposes. You can use this a hair conditioner, to treat flaky dry scalp and a  scalp conditioner. It also makes the hair smooth and shiny too.

VERDICT: This is always a winner. This is already my third bottle I believe. That's how much I love it actually. A must try for everyone.
