Mos Burger In Tokyo

Hello guys! I have here a good food recommendation if ever you happen to come across this store. Actually, I've always heard about this from the stories of my students on and on but never got the chance to try it out myself. When I was in Japan few months ago, I really didn't miss the chance and dine there myself. So far so good and even better than what I've imagined actually. Guys, let me introduce my random food diary.

My Random Food Diary: Mos Burger

Top 5 Reasons To Try This
  • Everything on the menu looks delicious and even healthier than the other fastfood chains around.
  • You can experience that fast Japanese culture there without sacrificing the quality and flavor.
  • The flavor is really good and you can even try their signature dishes like the rice burger and teriyaki ones.
  • The prices are really very competitive and reasonable.
  • If you're lucky enough, try to catch and experience their seasonal foods. I'm pretty sure you'll love them. :)
THE BEST PART is they have an English menu that caters to foreign diners. :) Hurray.

More Information about this
Price range: About 300 yen and up
Location: 7丁目1−8 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan

There you have it friends. That sums up my food adventure for today. Thanks for taking the time to visit and read my blog. I appreciate it.  Anyhow, take care and always be healthy.

Izakaya in Tokyo: A Lovely Experience

Ohayou Gozaimasu! I'm back to introduce here a good Japanese culture that is eating and drinking in style but casually in an Izakaya. Technically, it is a Japanese pub / bar that serves alcoholic beverages and good foods at the same time.  My student's parents wanted us to try this to get to know more about their culture. Man, we really had a blast and it was pretty memorable also.

My Short Photo Diary

FYI: Only the adults had a mug of beer and the kids had ginger ale respectively.

Top 5 Things to Know and Do When you're in Izakaya
1. Most of the stores typically open late in the afternoon / early evening.
2. After you sit down, the FIRST THING to do is order you own choice of drink. It's a kind of the NORMS there.
3. Since the place mostly are pretty small, talking in a loud voice is somehow discouraged.
4. Best foods to order are the famous sashimi, chicken, yakitori and gyuza.
5. It's better to do your research before going there. Why? It's hard to communicate when you don't have any Japanese friend with you.

Being there with my students is actually a dream come true. Not only we were able to witness the social and drinking scene of Japanese people in reality but also I was able to mingle, relax and have a hearty discussion with them as well. Such a good experience I must say.

Hope you like this short entry. If ever you are in Tokyo, visit any Izakaya in town and be ready to experience Japanese culture there. Enjoy and cheers to that. Till next time.

Yoshinoya

Hi everyone! I have here another food place that I highly recommend when you're in Japan. Why? Japan is the place where this Yoshinoya craze all started. In addition, it always provides comfort foods and gives us this atmosphere to be dining with the locals. Plus, if you have some yen left, this is the place to go. You can never go wrong if you dine here. I now present my 5 reasons to eat there.

5 Reasons to Eat in Yoshinoya, Japan
  • They have an English menu for foreigners so it makes the ordering less confusing and scary.
  • The prices are relatively affordable.
  • They have set meals already that include rice, meat of choice, miso soup and the like. They also have rice bowls that have meat toppings if you prefer those.
  • They serve the food pretty quickly.
  • The quality of the foods is truly good compared to the price you paid for.
It's a wrap. Have you ever eaten in one of the Yoshinoya shops? Let's share stories then and be friends. Thanks for reading this entry. Till my next food adventure.
