REVIEW : Moisture Skin Cream With Horse Oil by Loshi

Happy New Year guys! Today, I have a review which is all about a good and effective moisture cream which I found in the local Japanese drugstore. Its name name is the Moisture Skin Cream with Horse Oil by Loshi. Let's get to know more about this product then.

What is it about?

This is a moisturizer that contains 100% horse oil that is the secret to a young and beautiful skin. It nourishes the skin from deep within and helps reduce scar marks, fine lines and wrinkles. It's also suitable to use to all skin types.

After putting this cream on my skin, notice the lines have become less visible and my skin is a a lot smoother. ^ ^ No filter definitely.

SIZE: It's 7.8 oz ( 220 g)

PACKAGING: It comes in this white tub with a cover. Nothing fancy and just pretty straightforward.

SMELL: It has this weird smell but not overpowering. It gradually fades away after applying. Nothing to worry about.

TEXTURE: It's like this gel type consistency. Very smooth and easy to apply on the skin.

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I'm pretty glad I purchased this one impulsely. ^ ^ It did exceed my expectation. I use this as a face and body moisturizer, hand cream, and on other body parts that need moisture especially on my elbow and heel part. It's really a winner especially it can be used all over the body. A must have for everyone who are looking for that perfect moisturizer and body cream. 

Just a side note though. Since I'm living in a humid and tropical country, I use this lightly because it tends to be heavy / thick if I use much on one go. However, I use this richly at night as a sleeping mask and then again, I wake up having this smooth and supple skin.

REVIEW: Shisiedo Medicated Pressed Baby Powder

Hello guys. Here's a quick review and insights about this famous powder from Shisiedo. Its complete name is the Pressed Baby Powder ( Medicated ) version.  The catch? I've read something online that it also helps with oil control and can  be a powder to set makeup. Sounds interesting already.

What's it about?

It's basically a white powder that  is designed to avoid diaper rush  and help protect baby's skin from excessive sweating.

POWDER: It's really fine and powdery smooth.
PACKAGING: It comes in this plastic container but is also lightweight enough to be put inside our handbag. Also, it has a puff which is pretty decent and good quality.
SIZE: 50 g
SCENT & FRAGRANCE: It is pretty neutral. No smell and fragrance whatsoever.
TEXTURE: It can be chalky at first but the powder just melts into the skin ( especially during hot summer days)
COVERAGE: Just very light.

My Overall Thoughts

Well, it's like a love and hate relationship. I love it because it's very cheap and the size really goes a long way. At first, I didn't know how to use this well because it gave this white cast  after I put this on to set my make up. Then, after I used it for several weeks and focusing more on my T-zone and oily areas, then this powder works wonders as it did made my face look decent and oil-free somehow for about 4 to 5 hours or so. Also, it performs better when you apply this with a brush because you can control the amount of the powder you want to use only. Well, it's not bad after all.

Product Empties # 19

It's the month of October and that means product empties is bound to happen again. Exactly. This comes a bit late but still I'll enumerate them one by one for you. Let's proceed.

My Product Empties # 19 : My Lucky Seven

1. W Lab Lip Crayon 04 Cozy Coral

PS : I used old photos here since I already threw away the product.

Actually I have a love and hate relationship about this lipstick here. I like the color itself of this and the matte finish it gives to my lips. However, I dislike how it can be drying and sometimes highlights the cracks and lines on the lips. :( You can also view my thoughts and more swatches of this product HERE

VERDICT: I won't repurchase this anymore for now. 

2. Rimmel London Lasting Finish

This is a blendable powder blush and a highlighter at the same time. it gives a natural sheer finish and somehow long lasting too. I like how easy and smooth it is. It is perfect for everyday use. 

FYI: This is included in my empties list because I've noticed that this has expired already so I'm throwing this away. 

VERDICT: A winner definitely. It's just one product but your get a blush and a highlighter already. It's a 2-in-1 product.

3. Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream

It's a moisturizing base makeup product that promises 12-hour skin coverage. It also has skincare benefits, whitening effects and sun protection. You can also read an in-depth review of this BB Cream HERE

VERDICT: It's a good BB cream actually. It's worth the price because it's like a make up product and skincare item at the same time. Plus, a little amount of this will be used only each time so it lasts for a long time decently.

4. A Bonne Miracle Spa Milk UV Whitening Lotion

It has an innovative formula of concentrated milky lotion, enriched with lycopene tomato extract and other skin nutrients to give a lightened, clear and smooth skin with a healthy glow. I'ts light texture is fast-absorbing and non-greasy.

VERDICT: Another winner in this list. It's effective and very reasonable. Absolutely buying in big sizes always saves you some penny. In addition, I truly recommend this lotion here.

5 Bebeta Hand Wipes

It's a set of hand wipes formulated for babies. It's contains aloe vera and vitamin E to moisturize babies' skin. It's also alcohol free and hypoallergenic.

VERDICT: It's a so-so product in my opinion. I reach out for this wipes and make it as a makeup remover at night for those lazy nights. 

6. Dr. Color Effect Red Cream by Skin & Lab

It's literally a red cream that contains precious oil extracted from Damascan roses. It makes the skin brighter, elastic and younger looking. More insights about this red cream can be seen HERE

VERDICT: It's a must buy for me. Actually, even my husband uses this sometimes and I can clearly say that this red cream helps in the texture of his skin. It's truly worth the money. 

7. Canmake Blush

This is a cream blush placed in a white and cute container. It has a dual function because it can be used as a blush and  lipstick as well.

VERDICT: I have mixed feelings about this. Even thought I like its formula ( very easy and buttery to use), the color pay off on my skin doesn't seem to show enough. Maybe it's just me or it's wrong shade for me. :(  I'll just try other shades from them next time I guess.

Review : Naturie Skin Conditioner

Konnichiwa my beautiful friends! I have here a good recommendation that's good for your skin. I just discovered this when I was in Japan. The mere reason why I bought this is because it has a label that says NUMBER 1 BEST SELLER. I mean who wouldn't be tempted to try and buy something like this, right? Let's go back to business and get to know more about this item.

What's it about?

** This Hatomugi Skin Conditioner comes in 500 ml and it's suitable to use both on our face and body regularly everyday. It contains natural plant extract hatomugi (coix seed) and it is easily absorbed by the skin. In addition, it has natural plant ingredients of Job's Tear extract that are good for moisturizing and brightening. It is popularly consumed as a tea for our health and skin. Above all, it normalizes the turn-over cycle of the skin cells and it can be used as an anti-aging product and a good remedy for wart and acne.

COLOR: It has this white-ish liquid in the bottle but looks transparent when applied on the skin.
SMELL: It doesn't have any at all.
TEXTURE: It feels like water in consistency actually. 

PROS

• It's very cheap and reasonable if you buy it in Japan.
• It has a cooling and tightening effect on the skin whenever I use it.
• It has a brightening effect.
• It's a good anti-aging product.
• It makes the skin look tight and firm.
• It's also good for hydration and locks in the moisture.
• It is also good for making the pores look smaller.
• It's perfect for all kinds of skin types.
• THE BEST PART is you can use this as a facial mist, toner, lotion and a moisturizer if you desire to.

CONS

• It isn't easily available in the Philippines unfortunately. But if they are, they are so expensive also.
• The bottle and packaging  doesn't look appealing. ( I don't mind  it at all. )
• That's it. :)

My Overall Thoughts

I am over the moon that I actually purchased this product even if I wasn't sure if it works well or not. Good thing for having a woman's instinct I suppose. Anyhow, I have no words to say but only good things about this skin conditioner. It's like you're buying one bottle that has several purposes. I use this on my body especially on those parts that I feel quite dry. I love love love using this on my face and neck because it really gives me good benefits. Even my husband uses this as a skin toner and his skin loves it as well. It's for everybody I guess.

Hi lovely friends! How have you been these days? I have here another Japanese product from Canmake that is good for the eyebrows and function as a brow gel too. It's called Canmake Color Change Eyebrows in #01.

What's it about?

This claims to completely change the look and color of you eyebrows instantly. With just one coat, it provides a rich color effect that bleaches the brows. It's waterproof and smudge-proof. This shade # 01 is a chestnut brown that is recommended for people who have dark brown and  black hair. It's a versatile and natural color that gives a soft and gentle aura.

Steps How To Fix Your Eyebrows with the Product

1. Comb your brows before applying any product on it.

2. Make a tentative line on your brows and it also depends what shape you want to achieve for that day.

3. Slightly fill in some sparse area using an eyebrow powder or if you want you can also use an eyebrow pencil to speed up the process.

4. Lightly use this Canmake product on the brows themselves to achieve a softer look. It's like tinting your eyebrows literally. Viola, that's it. :) 

PROS

• It colors my black thick eyebrows successfully.
• It's water-resistant and stays put even on hot and humid days.
• It stays true to its color.
• It can be a good eyebrow gel because it holds the eyebrows in place.

CONS

• It's hard to buy this locally especially here in Cebu.
• It's just available in two shades.
• It's hard to use at first especially because the product just hardened after a few minutes after applying it on so you have to be quick in using this.

My Overall Thoughts

At first, I thought I didn't like this product because I didn't like how it looked my brows. Then after weeks of trial and error processes, I realized that this product is merely intended to change the colors of your brows and as a eyebrow gel at the same time. I guess I enjoy using this product because the change of my eyebrows' color really makes a lot of difference in my eye area. Plus, it holds my brows in place and the color doesn't fade or something.
