My Product Empties # 15: My Lucky Seven

1. Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch

I am really obsessed with this product. It is very convenient to use and good for both men and women alike. It does the job in making the pimple / acne appear smaller and healed in a way it doesn't grow bigger and worse anymore. Plus, the adhesive is really strong so you'll be assured it stays right there for a long period of hours.

VERDICT: A sure buy for me. Also, I highly recommend this to everyone.

2. Dove Ultimate White Anti-Perspirant Deodorant

This product is pretty straightforward and does the job as expected. If you ask if it does help with the whitening, that I'm not sure of. I don't notice any brightening effect from this whatsoever. 

VERDICT: Yes, I'll buy this if I get this on sale again. 

3. It's Skin Power 10 Formula Vitamin C Serum

You really have to try this Vitamin C serum right here. It is really effective when it comes to whitening, making the pores less visible and improves the elasticity of my skin as well. I've been using this for about a year or so and I'm one happy user here.

4. Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream

I have a love and hate relationship with the cream. I love it because it does help me with moisturizing my face and controlling the oil of my face but the effects are not that long lasting.

VERDICT: I'm still half-hearted for now. I won't repurchase this anymore.

5. Heal Hand Cream

I truly enjoy this hand cream. I specifically use this after doing the laundry and other chores. It feels very nourishing and moisturizing at the same time.

VERDICT: A sure winner for me. I highly recommend this guys.

6. Snake Brand Prickly Heat Cooling Powder in Cool Pink

This powder provides a cooling and refreshing effect especially in hot and humid weather conditions. It also contains good flower ingredients  like Jasmine, Daisy and Cherry Blossom that help retain moisture and soften skin at the same time.

VERDICT: This powder saves the day especially this summer. I always use this before sleeping. You can buy this in any Watson's branch. A sure winner again for me. 

7. Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

It contains 92% real aloe that calms and moisturizes the skin making it cool and refreshed. I like that it has many uses so this product right here is a gem on its own.

REVIEW: Dr. Color Effect Red Cream by Skin & Lab

Hello guys. I have another good skincare product that will truly blow your mind away. I kid you not. This is the Dr. Color Effect Red Cream by Skin & Lab.

What's it about?

Red Cream contains precious oil extracted from one millions Damascan roses. It provides brightness and elasticity to dull skin so that your skin looks much younger. Also, phyto-red complex promotes healthier skin turn-over cycle to fight against free radicals, dehydration and visible signs of aging. Gooey textured cream melts immediately on your skin and delivers wonderful effect of roses in the best way.

HOW TO USE

PACKAGING: It comes in red tub with a spatula inside. Nothing fancy really. It also comes with a spatula. Yay.
SCENT: It's a slight hint of floral/ fruit-y smell combined together. Something sweet but not overpowering.
PRICE: It's P900+. :( 
TEXTURE: It's very lightweight and not sticky at all. It is easily absorbed by the skin once applied. 
TIP: Make sure to use a tiny amount so you can easily manage it in spreading on the skin.

I guess I put on a little too much on the right side.

Left- bare skin / Right- the product has been absorbed by my skin. :) You can notice a brightening effect instantly. Plus, the skin feels very smooth and soft.

TMI: I asked my husband about my little experiment. Surprisingly, he clearly noticed the right side looks better and brighter. Then when he touched it, he felt the right side is much softer and healthier. Instantly, guys can tell the big difference as well. :)

PROS

• It's easy to use and very lightweight on the skin
• It is responsible for promoting skin elasticity which is A+ for me.
• It somehow makes moisturized.
• It contains good ingredients that fight aging and dull skin.
• The skin feels soft, plump and healthy.
• It doesn't make my face oily and no breakouts whatsoever.

CONS

• One thing is really the price. It's not that cheap though.

My Overall Thoughts

Once again, I'm pretty satisfied with this red cream right here. I does the job as expected. Two thumbs up!! I must say it works much much better when I paired it with the red serum. I'm loving how skin feels and looks these days because of this powerful duo. 

I highly recommend these two products because they truly work well for me. This moment that I'm writing this blog entry makes me realize to save up and repurchase them if I run out of them already.

REVIEW: Medicated Hand Cream by Kiss Me

Good day everyone! How are you doing these days? Hope things are good and well. Anyhow, I have another Japanese product that I definitely recommend if your hands are suffering from dehydration and lack of moisture. I accidentally found this in Japan while I was in Daikoku, a Japanese pharmacy. Let's keep this going and get to know more about this product.

What's it about?
It's a medicated hand cream that contains Vitamin E, camphor and glycerin. It is highly moisturizing and its effect can last up to 6 hours or so. You may also use this to any body parts that require moisture like your knees, heels, elbows and feet. This is formulated like a Pharmaceutical product.

Both parts of the hands don't have any hand cream yet.

TEXTURE: It's pretty semi-thick in consistency.
SIZE: It's about 75 g.

SMELL: At first, it has a strong odor like that of a medicine but fades away after application on the skin.

PACKAGING: It comes in a yellow tub with brown cover. Pretty sturdy and nothing fancy.

PROS

• It is REALLY an effective hand cream / moisturizer.
• Its performance is long lasting up to 6  hours and more.
• It's very cost-effective since you're like buying pharmaceutical products that function like a skin care. :) Also, a little bit goes a long way so this tub will last up to 4 - 6 months or even longer. COOL!

CONS

• If you're sensitive with smell, then this might not be for you.
• It isn't available in the Philippines that easily I suppose.

My Final Thoughts

I'd truly recommend this hand cream especially during winter months because it really provides intense moisture. Here in the Philippines, this rich cream might be messy or sticky if applied that frequently. But, if you're skin is a dry skin type, then this works perfectly . Just use and put the cream little by little so it's easy to manage. 
TIP: You can use this cream as overnight mask for your hands and feet.

Hola! I have here another travel vlog. This time, I'll introduce the famous discount store found in Japan that's called Don Quijote. Sounds Spanish right?  Actually this store is located in Japan. I've researched online that their best store is found in Akihabara so off we went to that place to discover its wonders and wide variety of items. 

What's it about?

Basically Don Quijote is a big discount chain store that offers everything from electronics, makeup and skincare, snacks, travel items and the list goes on and on.

Top 7 Reasons to Visit this Place

• It's the best place to buy souvenirs. ( the famous Kitkat chocolates, Japanese themed items and some keychains)
• It's the best place to see loads of ANIME and COSPLAY related goods. 
• It's the best place to get to know more about Japan and its interesting culture.
• It's the best place to buy pharmacy related goods and skincare like lip balm, hand cream and etc.
• The store offers a TAX FREE system. That means if your items are priced 5000 yen and more, foreigners can get a good discount. That's like shopping and getting some savings after.
• It's a good place where everybody can enjoy from children to old and male and female alike.
• It's the best place to get traditional stuffs like the wooden fan, yukata and the like.

TIP: This place can be so overwhelming I tell you. You have to plan ahead, list down the things you want to buy and never buy on impulse if possible. I suggest to navigate first the place, rememeber which places and floors you find them and return the next day. Shopping wisely always saves the day.

Eat All You Can with Family at Cabalen

Hello everyone. I have here another food recommendation that will surely be a good place for family and your bunch of friends. It's Cabalen, a native restaurant that originates in Pampanga, Philipppines. Basically, they serve Filipino foods from appetizers, main dish and even desserts, they also offer that. I'll give you more information about this place.

What's it about?

Cabalen restaurant is an Eat-All-You-Can or Eat-All-You-Want style. The buffet style offers good variety of dishes mostly Filipino cuisines. I highly recommend their vegetable kare-kare, chorizo, tofu dishes especially the tofu sisig, lechon, seafood dishes and diy salad. For desserts, try their diy halo-halo mix and the chocolate fondue with fresh fruits and marshmallows.

RATES: P 298 per person and drinks are paid individually.

My Final Thoughts

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try Filipino food with family.  The buffet rate is reasonably priced so everybody can try it without breaking the bank. One thing I can say is that they refill their foods pretty quickly and the foods stations are neatly maintained. It's truly the best place to enjoy good foods with your significant others.

TIP: Please reserve ahead of time especially during the weekend because the line and waiting time might be a killer.
