Review: Red Serum by Skin & Lab

Greetings of warm smiles from me here in Cebu City. I have another review about a good skin care item that I purchased recently. It's the Dr. Color Effect Red Serum by Skin & Lab, another Korean skin care item of course. :) Let's keep this going and discover its beauty.

What's it about?
It's a highly concentrated serum that contains RED EXTRACTS which promote healthier skin turn-over cycle to fight against free radicals, dehydration and signs of aging.

5 Main Benefits to our Skin
  • Good Anti-Oxidants --> limit the production of free radicals which can damage skin cells and reduce the signs of aging
  • Skin firming
  • Brightening the skin--> promotes a healthy and glowing appearance of the skin
  • Soothing
  • Balancing Oil and Moisture--> keeps a good balance of the natural oil and moisture on the skin

More Photos of the Product

There is an applicator for easy usage.

You can see the product here. It's a transparent liquid and quite runny.

The finish look of my hand  after putting on the product
PACKAGING: It comes in a sleek red glass bottle with an applicator that looks similarly to a medicine dropper.
SIZE: It has 40 ml inside.
TEXTURE: This serum has a slightly thick consistency and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on the skin. Also, the serum looks like a white transparent liquid.--CHECK
PRICE: It costs P880.
SCENT: It has a mild hint of berries, something sweet but just sweet enough not overpowering.

PROS
  • Promotes a healthy and younger looking skin
  • Easily absorbed by the skin and very lightweight
  • That mild sweet scent is pretty good.
  • Loaded with good ingredients that are very good to the skin
  • Makes the skin moisturized and glowing at the same time

CONS
  • It isn't easily available in the Philippine markets yet.
  • It's pretty pricey. It basically costs around P880.

My Final Thoughts
So far, I like this serum because it does what it's supposed to do and more than that actually. Hats off to this beauty actually.  I can definitely say it's a good skincare investment. Because of that, I highly recommend this serum.

There you have it. Have you tried this wonderful red serum also? Let's exchange deets then.  Take care guys and stay beautiful.

  1. Came across your blog on Insta and got interested when you mentioned that you reviewed this serum. I gotta admit that this has been on my cart for so long but I honestly still have other products to try first. But then this serum is quite interesting! I wonder if you're gonna get the cream.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Mira. Nice to meet you. :) The serum is really good especially if you're after hydration and younger looking skin. On a side note, I'm still testing the red cream for about 2 weeks now before I write a short review about it. For now, the red serum works much even more paired with its red cream. THanks for dropping by. :) --Belle
