Review: Recellme Global Nature A-Free Mask

Hola friends! I am back with another  sheet mask review. This is gifted from the brand so this post is dedicated to them as a sign of my appreciation for the brand. Let's keep it short and simple then.

My Overall Thoughts / Experiences

• EFFECTS - Instantly, skin looks and feels refreshed, revitalized and glowing. 
• SCENT - You can definitely smell hints of tea tree from the essence / mask.
• FIT - It's pretty decent but not the best in my opinion.
• TEXTURE - It has this tacky feel to it but I don't mind it at all since most masks are like that anyway.
• About the brightening effect, I feel like it isn't very noticeable somehow.
• Overall, this mask gives me this pleasant experience. It somehow delivers what it is supposed to do. I feel like this mask is good to use at night since it gives you this relaxing sensation as you prepare to sleep. Also, for its price point which is P50.00, I am quite satisfied with what it gives to my skin. That added boost of hydration is always an added bonus.

FYI : I've read the instructions at the back of this mask that you can use this warmly. Something new to try soon. We'll see.

REVIEW :Jeju Aloe Ice Refreshing Soothing Gel by The Face Shop

As you all know already that I've been a fan of  their soothing aloe gel for the longest time. I was on the hunt of trying something new and one day I saw this one in their physical store. I knew I just had to get it. Why? The idea of JEJU ALOE ICE totally caught my attention. Anyhow, let's continue this review.

What is it about?

This Jeju Aloe Refreshing Soothing Gel is formulated with aloe vera extract from Jeju to soothe and moisturize the skin. It's an innovative product from the gel consistency to like ice ( when placed in the freezer) that is especially formulated to people living in hot and humid places. This product can be used both on the face and all over the body. Also, this product can be used variously for moisturizing, soothing, like a facial pack and after-sun-care.

TIP: For a  more  effective and  soothing  result, you may put this product refrigerated or in the freezer especially during hot summer days before actually using it to boost its effects. Here are the photos of the soothing gel after being chilled.

SIZE: It is 300 ml.
PRICE: It costs P250.
PACKAGING: It comes in this big tub that contains the product. It has a kind of lid that serves as its cover to minimize the product from spilling.
TEXTURE: It feels like a soft creamy texture in a normal room temperature. However, it turns into this slight thicker like a frozen yogurt. Something like that.

PROS

*It is quite reasonably priced in terms of its quantity and offers several uses on the skin.

*It is absorbed very quickly on the skin making the skin soft and hydrated.

* It feels gentle and is very lightweight.

* It gives this healthy texture on the skin making it glow somehow.

*Most importantly, it has many purposes so this makes it a winner in my opinion.

CONS

* It isn't travel-friendly as you can already see. 

*The hydration effect can seem to be temporary so you need to double moisturize to boost moisture.

My Overall Thoughts

Well, I'm pretty satisfied with this product right here. It is really a staple for anyone looking for a  good soothing  gel  and is living in hot tropical countries like me. I  love  the cooling  sensation it gives to  my  skin. Also, I  can  tell my skin always  loves  this  product because  it has this healthy  and  hydrated texture. One  more  thing, this  has  longer lasting effect compared to the normal aloe soothing gel so I now get it why this is priced a bit higher. Will I recommend it? Oh  yes definitely. Also, if you have a matured  skin like mine, then use  this  one with  your other moisturizer to fully boost the hydration on the skin. It works better that way too.

I'll enumerate the reasons why this cream has won my heart.

1. It's very lightweight and applies smoothly on the skin.
2. It does the job effectively.
3. Two kinds of cream mean two major benefits it give to our skin.
4. It has 10 super foods, minerals and vitamins that boost regeneration of skin cells.
5. It's perfect to layer under our makeup / foundation. It doesn't look heavy or something.
6. The moisturizing effect stays on for a long time. ( can be used as an all day moisturizer)
7. I've noticed it does help with controlling the shine on my face. By the way, I have combi skin type.
8. This double cream gives me this healthy and dewy look on my face.

REVIEW : Everyday Sheet Mask In Lemon-Lime Variant

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I have here a good sheet mask recommendation. I know I know the  past holiday rush was so hectic and stressful especially to our skin because of insufficient sleep, putting on makeup and all that jazz. Well, this is the one that I use. Trust me, it does make a lot of wonders. What I'm talking about is this Everyday Sheet Mask In Lemon-Lime Variant by Boomdeahdah which I found on Althea website. Let's get to know more this then.

What's it about?

It's a brightening mask pack to make our skin moisturized and fair at the same time. Both lemon and lime extracts ( the main ingredients of this) give vitamins and nutrition to our skin to make it  brighter and more revitalized.

My Overall Thoughts 

I am so happy I got this sheet mask. It is cheap but does the job as expected even way better. This definitely makes my tired skin looking fresh and happy after  I have this on. Next, it also brings back the moisture and gives me this healthy glow from within. The best part of this is it contains enough essence inside the pack so I use the remaining one for my neck, arms, elbow and feet as well.

If ever you're checking ALTHEA WEBSITE, I highly recommend this mask. It's so cheap ( I repeat) and it's perfect to use if you have some events and parties to attend to. It won't disappoint.

REVIEW : Moisture Skin Cream With Horse Oil by Loshi

Happy New Year guys! Today, I have a review which is all about a good and effective moisture cream which I found in the local Japanese drugstore. Its name name is the Moisture Skin Cream with Horse Oil by Loshi. Let's get to know more about this product then.

What is it about?

This is a moisturizer that contains 100% horse oil that is the secret to a young and beautiful skin. It nourishes the skin from deep within and helps reduce scar marks, fine lines and wrinkles. It's also suitable to use to all skin types.

Please excuse the dry skin on my fingers.

After putting this cream on my skin, notice the lines have become less visible and my skin is a a lot smoother. ^ ^ No filter definitely.

SIZE: It's 7.8 oz ( 220 g)

PACKAGING: It comes in this white tub with a cover. Nothing fancy and just pretty straightforward.

SMELL: It has this weird smell but not overpowering. It gradually fades away after applying. Nothing to worry about.

TEXTURE: It's like this gel type consistency. Very smooth and easy to apply on the skin.

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I'm pretty glad I purchased this one impulsely. ^ ^ It did exceed my expectation. I use this as a face and body moisturizer, hand cream, and on other body parts that need moisture especially on my elbow and heel part. It's really a winner especially it can be used all over the body. A must have for everyone who are looking for that perfect moisturizer and body cream. 

Just a side note though. Since I'm living in a humid and tropical country, I use this lightly because it tends to be heavy / thick if I use much on one go. However, I use this richly at night as a sleeping mask and then again, I wake up having this smooth and supple skin.
