Welcome back to my blog guys. Today I'll highlight another experience featuring one of the famous beach resorts in Bohol. What I mean is the Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort in Bohol.
Where is it located?
It's located in Danao beach, Panglao island, Bohol. The place offers restaurant, meeting facilities, room services and tours as well. They have the hotel's outdoor pool, garden and a private beach.
I guess this has to be the top of my list. Their staff and crew are very welcoming, helpful and courteous. It literally felt our second home and the experience was absolutely made more special having them around.
2. The Foods
Of course, this one is also included in the list. Especially when you have their discounted vouchers, the meal set / buffet meal becomes cheaper. I believe food and quality are both not compromised and their restaurant also serves local and international dishes too. Best of both worlds I guess.
3. The serenity of the place
Hands down to this. Once you enter their reception area, I felt like I'm transported into this peaceful haven making me relax and just being one with nature. The serenity of the place calms me down and helps me to meditate and recharge. It's like a reset button.
4. The rooms
We were lucky to have good room facilities that cater to our needs and at the same it was located rightt in front of their outdoor pool making it a perfect location to hang out and have some tea. I have to mention the " Hanging Bed" style which actually elevated its style and comfort.
5. The whole place itself
I like the fact that they have two kinds of swimming pool and a private access to their beach as well. All these are well appreciated by guests like me since it will give more opportunities to explore the place and have different experiences as well. Something extra added always is a good idea.

Glad that we did because it was actually raining for hours and this place served as our sanctuary and at the same time, gave us good treats like their restaurant and shop. Hello guys. Let's welcome a new month with a travel adventure. This time, I'd love to share here my family trip that happened weeks ago when we visited my mother's place. At first, we all thought it was just a normal vacation to break our current routine in the city then it was way more than that. Boy, we were all damn wrong. Unexpectedly, they prepared good things like fresh foods there so we could all have some good time and make new memories as well. If I were to summarize that trip, then I'd definitely say it's one for the books. Something unexpected but definitely hits the right spot. A second home indeed for all of us.

Hey lovely friends. It's February and everybody calls this Love Month. I figured I would dedicate a blog post about love, family and everything in between. In the Philippines, family is considered as the simplest unit of society. This time I will highlight its importance in our lives.
Reasons Why Family Is Important In Our Lives
1. Helps to make who we are
It's all in the genes somehow. Our tendencies and behavioral patterns sometimes mirror each other in the family. Also, our parents help and mold us to be the best version we can be. With that being said, a big chunk of us is somehow credited to our family basically.
2. Creates memories
Let's admit it. Through the years, each member of the family tend to have different priorities and preferences in life. Let's include the rat race of course. It's also one disadvantage in the modern times we face. The more we spend time together, the more special moments are created one by one. It doesn't matter as long as it's quality time then it will always be precious to each one.
3. Aids to make better decisions
Our parents and including our older siblings are the best sources of advice and life lessons. Spending time with them also means we can consult and ask for better options in life, right? At least we can be guaranteed that our family will help us become better.
4. Relieves stress
Yes. Nothing beats a good family time I believe. It's like a good hug to your soul and senses as well. One, talking about anything under the sun gives you this sense of comfort and assurance that whatever happens, they got your covered. Second, they may give criticisms but only for our development leading to a positive change.

Hi lovely friends. This is just a random post about the things I'm greatly thankful for last year. I figured it was truly a good year of travelling to new places, catching up with friends and spending quality time with my significant others. Anyhow, let me enumerate these things.
Things I'm Thankful For
1. The Gift of Family I'm blessed I'm given a good set of family ( parents, parents-in-law and siblings) . I can proudly say that I have a good support system assisting me achieve my dreams and helping me unconditionally.
2. Weekend Nights This I truly treasure. Weekend nights mean it's the time for me to slow down, unwind and basically detach myself from the net and computer ( which always reminds me of work).
3. Coffee + Tea + Milk Tea
Coffee because it fuels me up and gives me energy to start my day and be productive. Tea because it gives me peace of mind and basically calms me after work. Milk Tea because it gives me sweetness and pleasure at the same time. I just have this happy feeling when I drink this ( coffee / tea/ milk tea ) , I sit down and just do nothing even for a short time.
4. Baby Niece
I must admit this baby cutie has really captured my heart and attention. Babies always have this cute charm and adorable personality. FYI: Baby girl, you always brighten up my day for sure.
5. Vacation Time I am blessed that I get to share my wanderlust soul with my hubby. Vacation time is the best time for us to explore new places together sharing our passion for adventure and new experiences.
6. Cooking I may be cooking at home for several years already but still I consider myself a newbie cook. Absolutely. Through the years, I've embraced the love for cooking, preparing nutritious meals and making them look presentable and appetizing in a way. Oh, did I mention, I love love going to grocery stores too. :)
7. Sales + Discounts + Giveaway Prizes This makes me so happy and excited. I'm pleased to steal good bargains which really helped me save a lot of bucks for sure. Plus, I'm always always blessed to win some giveaway prizes which I get to share with my family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
8. Belly Laugh This is always something fun and a good stress reliever. Writing this brings back so many memories which really made me burst into much laughter. Just imagine looking at my hubby do some silly dancing moves on the spot and it always hits the right spot to just laugh my heart out. Something random but always so candid. Cuteness overload indeed.
9. Journal and Diary Writing This really makes me motivated, inspired and happy. It gives me this quiet time to reflect and be grateful with everything may it be big or small ones . Everything counts and all details matter definitely.
10. Dining Out Yes please. Eating out is like a sweet escape of the norms. It gives me new experiences, a different twist of flavors and just pure bliss of eating good foods that comfort my soul.
11. Korean Dramas Yes yes and more yes! Currently, I am watching The Golden Life, The Black Night and 2 Cops. Watching these dramas give me that kilig factor. Their actions, handsome actors of course ( I have to mention that) and just so entertaining. A good source of entertainment definitely.
12. Thoughtful Students I've been an online teacher for many years and it's not everyday that I meet these handful students. Especially, last year, I was given a chance to meet some of them. Thank you for the warmth, kindness and thoughtfulness. My job is made easier by your presence.
13. Sweet Nothings
I may not be an affectionate person literally but getting / hearing / receiving these sweet nothings always melt my heart all the time. In this digital world we are in right now, receiving / hearing these things are very golden and should be treasured.
14. Good Health
This is really my ultimate goal. I believe health is the foundation of every single thing. I'm very much thankful that I and my family are doing well and eating well too. It's a hard lesson to learn but we really should invest in our health and everything else follows smoothly.
15. The Local Market
I've never enjoyed going there not until I got married. Ha ha. Truth be told, I really enjoy going to Carbon ( the local wet market in Cebu) most especially because I love talking to the people there, haggling and basically buying from the farmers themselves. It's just a different feeling and it's also a humbling experience each time.

Hi guys. It's been quite a while since I last visited this beautiful and sacred place so when my sister invited me to go there, I definitely didn't think otherwise anymore. Family and visiting this place are just a good combination in my opinion.
What's it about?
Simala shrine / Simala church is located in Marian hills of upper Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu. It's a caste-like church structure that is well known for its miraculous events here and there most especially the shedding of tears of Mama Mary. With that, Catholics and believers alike always flock to this place to whisper some prayers and give thanks.
