My Product Empties # 24 : My Lucky Seven

1. Sanicare Cleansing Wipes

These cleansing wipes are gentle, alcohol-free, lightly-scented with Eucalyptus and safe for children too. They feel very soft and have this cloth-like texture for that thorough cleansing.  One pack contains 80 sheets.

VERDICT: An absolute winner. This really is very reliable and travel-friendly. The price point is also another advantage. A must buy for everybody.

2. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in Rich Ruby

I like how creamy and smooth this feels on the lips. A good lip color for everyday use and can be worn during date nights too. 

VERDICT: This is another favorite here in this list. Nice color pay off and makes you look more put together. A good lipstick to try.

3. Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen

It's a tinted sunscreen that has a medium to deep shade. It's very lightweight and easy to use. I've reviewed this product before so you can check HERE for more details.

VERDICT: A good product to try. It's a sunscreen and a good foundation all in one tube. 

4. Colour Collection All Day Wear Lengthening Mascara

It is designed to define and extend the lashes making them look full. It also claims to be waterproof.

VERDICT:  I think I'll pass on buying this one again. Yes, it's waterproof but I noticed some fall outs throughout the day. One good thing though is that it really makes my lashes thick in one coat. :)

5. Real Skin Healthy Vinegar Skin Toner in Makgeoli

It's a healthy vinegar skin toner that has makgeoli. This ingredient mainly helps to brighten and nourish the skin making it clearer and better. More information about this product can be seen HERE from my previous post.

VERDICT: For its price point, it's a yes. Though the effects don't happen overnight, I really seem them coming after 1 week of using it. I will definitely repurchase this soon.

6. Miracle Fit Essence Concealer by Secret Key

It claims to cover blemishes and give the skin a healthy look. It does have SPF 30++ . It also has green tea extract and green tea seed oil to promote hydration and moisture. More swatches and photos can be seen HERE. 

VERDICT: It's a good steal. I used this as my trusted base replacing my foundation during the hot summer days and it did perform well. I will hoard this one again for sure. 

7. Milky Dress Wrinkle and Whitening Eye Cream
It's an eye cream that targets 2 main points. It claims to whiten the under eye area and help with the wrinkle care. I did review this product before and you can see it HERE

VERDICT: I'll pass this one for now. This eye cream is very much suitable for young skin.

Review : Ginger Sugar Lip Scrub by Aritaum

Gone are the days that my skin always revitalizes by itself. I always thought that applying a lip balm is enough to moisturize my lips. Boy, I was totally wrong. I've noticed some parts of my lips are flaky in  a way especially they are highlighted when I wear matte lip product. Not attractive at all I know. Good thing I saw this on the website and decided to try this. That was the best decision ever. For now, let's get to know more about this product.

What's it about?     

This is a lip scrub with ginger and sugar crystals that moisturizes your dry and chapped lips to create a smooth lip texture.

How the product looks on my lips. Looks a lil greasy and you can notice some sugar crystals too.

The finish look

The photo doesn't do much justice. I promise the texture of my lips here feels super soft and smooth.

PACKAGING: It comes in a round plastic container with a screw-open like cap.

SIZE :It has 12 g in it. Pretty small but a little goes a long way. Trust me.

CONSISTENCY: At first, it looks like a balm. Then once it touches your skin, it just melts and turns into this smooth texture that is easy to apply and spread on the lips.

SCENT: It doesn't have any strong scent of ginger in it. No strong taste either.  It has this very mild citrus scent though.

HOW TO USE IT?   

1. Use it as a lip scrub.

Make sure you have clean hands. Use your fingers to apply the product and put it all over your lips. Apply it in circular motion to look like your scrubbing the excess dead skin cells of your lips. Leave it on for a minute more or less. Then use your gentle cleansing wipes to remove the product and wash it off with water after to completely remove it since there's this  sugary bits and hints of oil / wax from the product itself.

2. Use it as a lip mask. 

Do the same steps and apply the product in circular motion. Wear it overnight. You'll wake up the next day having smooth, hydrated and soft lips. 

My Overall Thoughts 

I am totally happy with this lip scrub. It does the job very effectively. It's a gentle lip scrub that everyone can enjoy. I see myself reaching this every time I feel like my lips feel flaky. It's reasonably priced since you can use it as a lip scrub and an overnight lip mask treatment. I highly recommend this to everybody especially those who like using matte lip products. This is the perfect lip product for you.

My Product Empties # 22 My Lucky Seven

Hello lovely friends. It's that time of the month which I do my countdown of my product empties. This is already my 22nd and I'm pretty proud how I keep track of them religiously. Who is with me? Raise you hands!  ^ ^Anyhow, let's continue this list and get started.

MY PRODUCT EMPTIES # 22 : MY LUCKY SEVEN
1. Simple Light Moisturizer

This is a light hydrating moisturizer. It's a perfect blend of multi-vitamins and good ingredients for the skin that can work up to 12 hours. It's also perfect for sensitive skin.

VERDICT: It's a buy definitely. If you're looking for a light and a good day moisturizer, then this is perfect.

2. Watson's Goat Milk Scented Cream Bath

This gently and effectively cleanses and moisturizes the skin. It also combines  gentle cleansing agents with the rich fragrance of goat milk, leaving your skin soft and silky smooth.

VERDICT: A winner for me. With its size ( 1000 ml) and its price point, it's a win-win solution definitely. You guys should check this out.

3.Gugo Kultura Shampoo

Gugo is a vine found in the tropical forest in the Philippines and its bark  is used to treat all hair and scalp related problems such as dandruff and hair loss. This is all organic and natural so you can be assured that it's safe and mild to use for all hair types.

VERDICT: This is pretty effective. If you are looking for a good shampoo for oily and dry hair, then this the one for you. You can score this in all Kultura shops located in SM shopping malls.

4. Tony Moly Back Gel Liner in 02 Brown
This is a good gel liner that claims to be waterproof. It also has a long ( 15mm ) brush for that fast and easy application.

VERDICT: This is an absolute winner. It does the job, applies easily and smoothly. Also, it lasts for the whole day. A must buy indeed.

5. It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector

This is a serum from It's Skin. VC stands for Vitamin C. It's specially formulated with high potency of Vitamin C derivatives, green tea extracts and other good stuffs  to make skin radiant and brightening. It also claims to tighten the pores to even make skin healthy, soft and glowing.

VERDICT: Actually I've been repurchasing this ever since I discovered it. It's that good truly. It does help with my skin surface and overall appearance. Please try it.

6. Nivea Fruity Shine Cherry

This claims to have a delicious cherry scent and a fabulous red shimmer. It has fruit extracts,  shimmering pigments and SPF 10.

Something simple but very important for everyday use.

VERDICT: A buy for me. This is something functional and cheap at the same time.

7. Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes
These cleansing wipes are made with Micellar Water for a thorough yet gentle cleanse. They gently lift away makeup, impurities and unclog pores. They also leave the skin soft, clean, fresh and hydrated without  irritation.

VERDICT: A must buy for me. Also, I highly recommend these cleansing wipes. Does the job and makes the skin hydrated naturally. :)

Review : Pop Beauty Permanent Pout

Good day my lovely friends! Today I'll share some new products that I've gotten recently. They are called the Permanent Pout from Pop Beauty. It's  is a sister company of the famous UK brand Pixi by Petra. Let's get to know more these products then.

What is it about?

This extreme long-wear and kiss-proof velvet lip paint creates a matte finish. It claims to be full coverage that is always a dream to achieve. It's cruelty-free and paraben free. 

Permanent Pout in Rouge Red

Permanent Pout in Pink Honey

Price : Each costs P790
Size : It's 4.8 ml / 0.16 oz.
Packaging : The silver color on the outside gives that classy fab look. Also, the front part has this transparent symbol that looks like lips shows the color of the lip paint. Cool and artsy at the same time. Also, the overall packaging reminds me of a mascara. 
Texture : It's very creamy and feels a little sticky at first. Then it dries out to this velvet texture and feels so lightweight on the lips.
Style: Matte but not drying at all

My Overall Thoughts

Well, I'm pretty much torn between these two. Although they are coming from the same line that is the Permanent Pout, I feel they perform differently from each other. I'll enumerate my comments separately so we can compare and contrast the two individually.

SIMILARITIES
Pigmentation-  Both lippies have this rich color. Very nice color pay off too.
Texture- Both of them have this smooth and easy to use. They glide smoothly on the lips.
Formula - They have this glossy formula that dries matte. Well, it takes some seconds to make it completely dry so be very careful.
Scent and taste - Both of them have this sweet candy taste that is somewhat pleasing. Not very overpowering so you don't need to worry about it.

DIFFERENCES
1.)When applied on the lips, the PINK ONE looks rather nude than what color it claims to look like.  It's best to wear this lippie with a smokey eye look. Also, you can put on a lip tint first then layer this on for that gradient lips effect. 
2.) The red lippie looks fab and stays true to its color on the lips. Very pleasant and flattering to wear for everyday use.

Overall, I'm pretty much pleased with the bright red one over the pink one. By the way, don't forget to exfoliate your lips before using it to avoid it looking dry and patchy since this is a matte lip product. If you're out and about, expect some fading throughout the day especially when you eat and drink. Still, I would recommend this red lippie because it really brightens up your overall look making you look glowing and happy overall.
