W. Lab Velvet Color Stick

Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog, Adventures of Luzzie. How are you guys doing by the way? Hope things are well and you guys are all healthy. This blog entry is dedicated to all the lipstick lovers in the world. Who's with me? I'm pretty sure we, ladies, always have more than one lip products in our make up bag.  I am also guilty and I guess it's better that way so we can have some alternatives to change our look sometimes. (Making excuses here .) Let's continue this then.

What's it about?

 It's an auto-pencil that's easy and convenient to use. It includes vita care complex to nourish and moisturize our lips. 

SHADE: I have two shades. They are # 2 Noble Red and #4 Cozy Coral.

I am wearing the shade #4 Cozy Coral.

I am wearing the shade # 2 Noble Red.

INGREDIENTS

PACKAGING : The lip pencil comes in a tube form that you can easily twist up. The bad thing about this is the plastic white cap that comes with it. The plastic cap can easily be loose once inside the bag / make up bag.

PIGMENTATION: The shade # 2 Noble Red is quite beautiful. You can make it light or bold if you want to.

The shade #4 Cozy Coral doesn't come out the same color on the lips. It appears like a light shade of pink instead.

SMELL: No smell whatsoever. 

TEXTURE: It has a light and velvet- soft matte finish.

My Personal Thoughts
Overall, I am just pretty satisfied that I got these two as part of a special gift set from Althea box. The price isn't that costly though. Sadly, I don't recommend purchasing this alone because it doesn't do the job as expected with its price point.

Shade - check 

Just be careful with these lip crayons though. You have to exfoliate and scrub your lips first before applying them. It's because they tend to highlight the cracks and lines on the lips.  One more, the color of the shade tends to make our teeth look yellowish. :(

Mamonde Rose Water Toner

Hello beautiful friends! :) I have here a good skincare product that can be used in many ways. I have seen good reviews about it and I figured why not try it out myself and so I did. Today, I'm going to talk about this Mamonde Rose Water Toner which I purchased from Althea website. Let's continue then.

What's it about?

It's a moist rose water toner with 90.89% of rose water ( Grown in Rose Canyon in Bulgaria)  instead of just plain water. It claims to be soothing and moisturizing. It is also free from synthesis pigment, animal ingredient and mineral oil.

PACKAGING: The toner comes in a light pink transparent plastic bottle. It is pretty straightforward and has a rose sticker to label what kind of product it is about.

TEXTURE: The toner is clear and has a water-like consistency.

Ways of Using it

• Use it with a cotton pad after cleansing the face.
• Transfer the product to an empty spray bottle and use it as a facial mist.
• Soak a sheet mask with this toner and use it as a soothing pack.
• Soak / slightly moist a make up sponge like a beauty blender with this toner and use it to apply your regular base make up / foundation.
• As a mist, use this toner and spray your eyelids brush first before applying any kind of  glittery eyeshadow for that intense look.

My Overall Thoughts

I am pretty happy with this Rose Water Toner from Mamonde. It is really gentle and mild to use and perfect to use everyday as well. In addition, I love the slight hint of a rose scent. It does the job as expected but nothing more than that. 

If you're into giving your skin hydration and moisture, then this product is good for you. It suits all kinds of skin type too. But, if you're looking for added benefits like anti-aging and things like that, then I won't recommend this at all.

How To Recognize If He's / She's The One For You?

Ohh, it's a pretty interesting question, right? Since it's the love month, I think this topic really suits very well in my opinion. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean to be a love guru or something. These categories serve as guides to choose carefully and know if the person beside you right now fits to be your partner forever. Don't worry much because love comes in all forms and angles. Let's continue this and count the ways.

How To Recognize If He's / She's The One?

1. Lifestyle

This is basically a good factor if you are planning to marry soon or still looking for a stable partner. Why? Lifestyle basically means hobbies, preferences, opinions and your principles in life. Do you have something in common? We all know that life is a rat race and it's either you win or lose the game. If you believe you complement each other then it's a good sign. After all, if you and your partner are running at the same pace in a marathon game called life then it should be alright. 

2. Mentality

This is also very essential. Sometimes our ego and selfishness are always our enemies. Why? People just sometimes are blinded if they let these 2 rule in some circumstances. It also doesn't mean that by having a different kind of mentality will not work out well anymore. As people having their own special characteristics, it's always common to have differences whether we like it or not. The key? It's the willingness to accept and compromise at the same time. Many people say it takes two to tango so that principle can be applied here as well. By listening and having an open mind will be helpful to understand constructive criticisms and use them for your betterment as a couple.

3. Anger Management

This is so relatable! It's already our innate personality. The most important factor in all sorts of relationships. This anger management will either break or make the bond stronger. In our case, acceptance is the key and willingness to change for the better. I tell you we are like water and fire literally.  How I deal with it? I just tell him to let me express my bad emotions and just not listen at all. Then after a few minutes, we talk about it. That way, a fierce lady who is willing to eat  a person alive will be pacified somehow with silence. I also remind my partner to touch my forehead and tap my shoulders if I am transforming into this beast mode. Haha. Trust me, it works well.  He helps me and I help him too by not giving him that pressure. What do you think?

4. Goals and Dreams

Oh, this is also very significant. Your future together depends on it as well. What do you imagine of yourselves 5 - 10 years from now? It is pretty normal if you have different goals in life as long as you align these goals to complement each other and at the same time you are moving towards the same direction. I mean it's always fun and exciting to build and create dreams together. It just makes the relationship more exciting too. Dream big and aim higher.

5. Decision-making skills

This is absolutely IMPORTANT. It's basically the core of your relationship. Understanding how your partner deals with life is quite  tough and challenging sometimes.  If you resemble and mirror each other when it comes to problem-solving, then life gets much more easier and more beautiful. If you don't, fret not. These differences will actually motivate you to support you partner's strengths and bridge the gap when necessary. A relationship always gets stronger if two souls are willing to face the music and dance to the tune together.

Honey Snail Ultra Moisture Cream by Nella

Hi guys. I have a good moisture cream that really fits the budget and performs really well at the same time. I just feel the need to use moisturizers regularly especially after hitting the 30's generation. Good thing I have discovered this cream and this is also part of my latest haul from Althea.com. Let's continue and get to know more this product.

What's it about?

Nella's Fantasia's Honey One Snail contains snail secretion to help maintain the moisture on the skin and also has Adenosine that helps prevent wrinkles from appearing. The hydration it provides helps achieve a full silky face / dewy look.

PACKAGING: The product comes in a white plastic jar. The box that comes with it has cute pictures about snail. Interesting enough. But this cream doesn't have any spatula inside. :(

TEXTURE:  It has a thick and tacky texture. I'm guessing because it's full pack of good ingredients that's why it appears like that. 

PROS

• It's really cheap and feels like good quality at the same time.
• It is packed with good nutrients for the skin.
• It can be a good source for hydration and moisture.
• It improves the elasticity of the skin making it look glowing and healthy.
• It can be a good sleeping mask to use overnight.
• Plus, it has anti-aging benefits.
• This is a perfect moisturizer for mature skin and dry skin as well.

CONS

• Since it appears thick, I suggest to use just  a tiny bit during the day to layer under our foundation.
• It can't be easily bought in the market either.

My Final Thoughts

I'm totally blown away by this product right here. It does the job and even goes beyond what is expected of it. I like the fact that it is super rich with all those good ingredients that help restore the condition of our skin. I consider this a super product if that makes sense. I highly recommend this. I stand by it and it doesn't disappoint. ( Just never mind the shine it leaves the face after putting it on)

TIP: You have to use this by portion because it gets so difficult to manage if you put too much or too thick at one time.

Witch's Pouch Selfie Perfect Eyebrow

Hello! I am back to talk about an important aspect of our lives, our eyebrows. Yes! Eyebrows truly are life. They just frame our face nicely and instantly make us look put together. Raise your hands if you agree. Lately, I've discovered this brand Witch Pouch that carries this good eyebrow product and decided to give a try. Let's continue and give you the details about this good eyebrow product.

What's it about?
This is a retractable eyebrow pencil. The tip has an oval shape. 

This is how the product looks on my brows. ( Taking a selfie is hard. Pardon me. )

PRICE : It only costs P 150.

PACKAGING : It comes in a double purpose style. One end has the eyebrow product and the other has the brush. Also, it comes with a free refill. Yay!

TEXTURE : It has a soft texture which makes application easy and smooth. 

SHADE: I have here light brown and dark brown.

PIGMENTATION: It's just enough to draw and cover sparse lines on the brows somehow. 

My Overall Thoughts

This is actually a pretty decent product. I love that it has an added refill. Also, I like that it has double-ended brow kit that makes it so easy to use. The best advantages of this products are the price point and how it's strong enough to use and doesn't break so easily when you use it. Yehey! The only bad thing of this is it isn't water-proof like what it claims to be. I'm not complaining though. :)

Well, you should try this one and it's definitely worth the purchase.
