REVIEW : Matt Lipstick by Eyenlip

Hi friends! It's my first time in ages to properly do a makeup review especially a lipstick one. With that said, I'm truly happy when I got chosen as one of the reviewers. Yay to small victories like this!

Shades
#01 Vladi Red - A bold red color that perfect for date nights and special events
# 02 Ruby Red - A red color with hints of pink  that's good for an everyday look
# 03 Sunset Coral - A good color that looks very youthful and vibrant to the eyes
# 04 Caramel Pink - A good neutral color that basically goes with everything you wear
#05 Muhly Pink - This I call Barbie Pink-ish concept. A good pink color to start the week right with a bang.

My Personal Photos

Packaging
  • All 5 lipsticks are kept in a pretty silver bullet and burnt orange lip cover.
  • The lipstick case itself looks sturdy and stylish.
  • The shape of the lipstick is good enough for that easy application. The sharp points of the bullet makes it easy for me to make clean and polished edges.

Texture and Pigmentation
  • It has this creamy feel to the skin and glides smoothly on the lips too.
  • They have this solid color. Very pigmented. One swipe is basically enough.
  • The color is buildable and versatile. You can go for a sheer, gradient lips or add 1-2 more swipes for a strong and full lip look.
  • They have this semi-matte texture.
  • They also have this lightweight feel on the lips. Very comfortable to wear actually.

Longevity
  • I feel shades 1, 2 and 3 have weaker lasting power. They somehow dry down into this pretty sheer shade without retouching.
  • Shades # 4 and 5 have this stronger lasting power. The color fades but still more intense than the other 3. They stay on pretty well throughout the day without retouching.

My Overall Thoughts / Experiences
  • I personally like the packaging of the lipsticks. They remind me of Dior snow lippies.
  • The formulation is another good thing. They don't emphasize the dry cracks on my lips. ( It's still best to prep your lips accordingly since they are on the semi-matte side. )
  • The color range is pretty and flattering to wear. The red shades have already captured my heart to be honest.
  • The quality is also up there even if they are reasonably priced. Quality is never compromised.
  • They don't feel sticky at all. They just sit comfortably on the lips.
  • I also like the mild sweet scent they give. It reminds me of cotton candy for some reasons.
  • My favorite shades are definitely 1, 2 and 3.
How about you guys? What shades of lipstick do you prefer and buy? Let's share ideas. I'm curious.

Product Empties #24 : My Lucky Seven

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Let me introduce you to my Product Empties Series. It's the 24th one already and let's get cracking.

My Product Empties # 24 : My Lucky Seven
1. Sanicare Cleansing Wipes
These cleansing wipes are gentle, alcohol-free, lightly-scented with Eucalyptus and safe for children too. They feel very soft and have this cloth-like texture for that thorough cleansing.  One pack contains 80 sheets.

VERDICT: An absolute winner. This really is very reliable and travel-friendly. The price point is also another advantage. A must buy for everybody.

2. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in Rich Ruby
I like how creamy and smooth this feels on the lips. A good lip color for everyday use and can be worn during date nights too.

VERDICT: This is another favorite here in this list. Nice color pay off and makes you look more put together. A good lipstick to try.

3. Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen
It's a tinted sunscreen that has a medium to deep shade. It's very lightweight and easy to use. I've reviewed this product before so you can check HERE for more details.

VERDICT: A good product to try. It's a sunscreen and a good foundation all in one tube.

4. Colour Collection All Day Wear Lengthening Mascara
It is designed to define and extend the lashes making them look full. It also claims to be waterproof.

VERDICT:  I think I'll pass on buying this one again. Yes, it's waterproof but I noticed some fall outs throughout the day. One good thing though is that it really makes my lashes thick in one coat. :)

5. Real Skin Healthy Vinegar Skin Toner in Makgeoli
It's a healthy vinegar skin toner that has makgeoli. This ingredient mainly helps to brighten and nourish the skin making it clearer and better. More information about this product can be seen HERE from my previous post.

VERDICT: For its price point, it's a yes. Though the effects don't happen overnight, I really seem them coming after 1 week of using it. I will definitely repurchase this soon.

6. Miracle Fit Essence Concealer by Secret Key
It claims to cover blemishes and give the skin a healthy look. It does have SPF 30++ . It also has green tea extract and green tea seed oil to promote hydration and moisture. More swatches and photos can be seen HERE

VERDICT: It's a good steal. I used this as my trusted base replacing my foundation during the hot summer days and it did perform well. I will hoard this one again for sure.

7. Milky Dress Wrinkle and Whitening Eye Cream
It's an eye cream that targets 2 main points. It claims to whiten the under eye area and help with the wrinkle care. I did review this product before and you can see it HERE

VERDICT: I'll pass this one for now. This eye cream is very much suitable for young skin.

That's a wrap for me. Thanks for  visiting this blog and hope you find this helpful. Let me know if you've used some of the products that I've mentioned about. As I always say, take care and let's continue to discover new and good skin care products.

My Product Empties # 23 My Lucky Seven

Let's welcome a new month by having these products as my empties. It's my 23rd already and I'm pretty pleased with the list I have here. Let's continue and begin.

My Product Empties # 23 My Lucky Seven
1. Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer for Super Long Lashes
This is a lash primer. It's made to lengthen the lashes and hold the curl all day long. This is especially made for short, straight and sparse lashes. It contains fine black fibers and soybeans extracts that care for the lashes making them healthier and fuller.
* My swatches and photos of this product can be seen HERE

VERDICT: This product is really effective. It does add much volume and hold the curl all day. Just be prepared with a good eye makeup remover since this is such a pain to remove. A struggle I must say.

2. Guerisson 9 Complex Cream
This contains Vitamin E. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that becomes an anti-oxidant in the body. It also contains horse oil that repairs skin damage. In addition, it's helpful to cure dry skin problems, improve skin's elasticity and so many other benefits for the skin.
* My review about this product can be seen HERE

VERDICT: It's always a winner for me. Every time my skin feels dry, I reach out for this and solves the problem as expected. Since it's more on the heavy consistency, I put this at night and make it like a sleeping mask. My skin feels better the next day. I highly recommend this.

3. Celeteque Dermoscience Brightening Facial Wash
A good facial wash to brighten dark spots and correct uneven skin tones in an early as one week. It also cleanses and washes away dirt, sebum and other skin impurities. This is also hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and clinically proven safe for sensitive skin.

VERDICT: A good facial wash indeed. Why I didn't discover this earlier? I highly recommend this product.

4. Myra VitaWhite Whitening Hand and Body Lotion
This helps keep the skin healthy, white and young-looking. It has ActiLight Complex which is derived from plant extracts that gently whitens the skin. It also has SPF 15 with double sunscreen protection against UVA/ UVB rays to protect skin from harmful effects of the sun.

VERDICT: It's a winner. It does the job as expected. Actually I got this on sale like 50% off. So if you find this in your nearest supermarket, grab this especially if it's discounted.

5. Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer
It's a gel-type primer in skin tone variant. It claims to cover pores and makes uneven skin look even better. It also promises to make the skin smooth and shine free all day long.
** My review about this primer can be seen HERE

VERDICT: It's a must buy for everyone especially during hot and humid days. It does make a big difference on the face. Make up applies better and the skin looks less oily.  Quite a decent primer to use.

6. FS True Light Liquid Lipstick
It's a color rich liquid lipstick in Cerise, which is a bold red color. It comes with a cap and side mirror for that easy application even at night. It also has a built-in ring light which makes this more interesting.
* My review about this liquid lipstick can be seen HERE

VERDICT: A good liquid lipstick. This color is very flattering especially it completes the whole outfit and makes you more put together. Also, I have to commend its formulation since it's really smooth and pigmented. I totally recommend this one.

7. Canmake Color Change Eyebrows
This claims to completely change the look and color of your eyebrows instantly. It provides a rich color effect that bleaches the eyebrow hair. This is in shade # 1 which is chestnut brown.
** More photos and my review can be seen HERE.

VERDICT: I am totally loving this. Not only it changes the color of my brows making them soft and young-looking but also it acts as a brow mascara that helps to put my eyebrows in place all day long. Since, it's smudge-proof and waterproof, it is perfect for ladies who live in the tropical countries.

That's about it. Thanks for dropping by this blog. Hope you find this helpful. Let's share good information online. Also, let's continue to discover new and effective products that contribute to our overall well-being. Take care guys.

Review : Pop Beauty Permanent Pout

Good day my lovely friends! Today I'll share some new products that I've gotten recently. They are called the Permanent Pout from Pop BeautyIt's  is a sister company of the famous UK brand Pixi by Petra. Let's get to know more these products then.

What is it about?
This extreme long-wear and kiss-proof velvet lip paint creates a matte finish. It claims to be full coverage that is always a dream to achieve. It's cruelty-free and paraben free.

Permanent Pout in Rouge Red

Permanent Pout in Pink Honey

Price : Each costs P790
Size : It's 4.8 ml / 0.16 oz.
Packaging : The silver color on the outside gives that classy fab look. Also, the front part has this transparent symbol that looks like lips shows the color of the lip paint. Cool and artsy at the same time. Also, the overall packaging reminds me of a mascara.
Texture : It's very creamy and feels a little sticky at first. Then it dries out to this velvet texture and feels so lightweight on the lips.
Style: Matte but not drying at all

My Overall Thoughts
Well, I'm pretty much torn between these two. Although they are coming from the same line that is the Permanent Pout, I feel they perform differently from each other. I'll enumerate my comments separately so we can compare and contrast the two individually.

SIMILARITIES
Pigmentation-  Both lippies have this rich color. Very nice color pay off too.
Texture- Both of them have this smooth and easy to use. They glide smoothly on the lips.
Formula - They have this glossy formula that dries matte. Well, it takes some seconds to make it completely dry so be very careful.
Scent and taste - Both of them have this sweet candy taste that is somewhat pleasing. Not very overpowering so you don't need to worry about it.

DIFFERENCES
1.)When applied on the lips, the PINK ONE looks rather nude than what color it claims to look like.  It's best to wear this lippie with a smokey eye look. Also, you can put on a lip tint first then layer this on for that gradient lips effect.
2.) The red lippie looks fab and stays true to its color on the lips. Very pleasant and flattering to wear for everyday use.

Overall, I'm pretty much pleased with the bright red one over the pink one. By the way, don't forget to exfoliate your lips before using it to avoid it looking dry and patchy since this is a matte lip product. If you're out and about, expect some fading throughout the day especially when you eat and drink. Still, I would recommend this red lippie because it really brightens up your overall look making you look glowing and happy overall.

That's it for now. Hope you find it helpful. Thanks for reading my entry. Do you have any recommendation of a good lip product that you purchased lately? Let me know and share it with me then.

How about you friends? Have you tried this one already? Hope you find this helpful. As always take care and enjoy the rest of the week.
