My Love Affair with Ilaputi

Yey, finally I get to try and experience this famous local restaurant again. How? I joined their recent contest on Facebook and luckily I did win. The heavens heard my wishes that I really wanted to dine there again. Happy dance for me. Now, let's me share my dining experience in 3, 2 and 1. 

What's it about?
Ilaputi is a well-known restaurant that serves Asian and fusion dishes superbly. They have a wide variety of dishes that fit all ages and preferences. Their dishes are known for their big portions. They are basically known for  The Stroganov.

Where is it located?
They are located at the Greenery, Pope John Paul II, Ave., Kasambagan, Cebu City.

Dragon Chop costs P348. It's a pan seared garlic vinegar pork chop drizzled with yogurt. It is served with buttered garlic and raisin fried rice and mango chutney.

Bibimbap costs P348. This  has beef, carrots, mushrooms, fresh greens and gojujang fried rice with pan fried egg for the win.

Left - It's called Recover drink with cucumber, pineapple, ginger and lemongrass. It costs P140
Right- It's called Cool as Cucumber. It has mint and calamansi in it too. It also costs P140.

PRICE: It's quite affordable. Probably it will cost P750 + for 2 people.

TASTE AND FLAVOR: Just magnificent. I like that simple touch of garnish and presentation they do in every single dish. 

QUALITY OF THE FOODS: I'd say it's awesome. Though the price is quite out there, the quality is really worth it. Fresh ingredients and just the right balance of everything I believe.

Overall Thoughts
Well, I am totally satisfied with my dining experience there. Opps, my happy tummy also agrees with me absolutely. As expected, the place doesn't disappoint as we loved every single bite of our foods.  A good place to enjoy, relax and eat good comfort foods that will take you to a next level of happiness. 

Will I come back?
Oh yes absolutely. I can't wait to try their other dishes there.

Family Dinner at STK Ta Bai and Coffee Time

Hi guys! How are you doing these days? Today, I'll share a family gathering this time. We were scheduled to meet a family friend who is from Manila and just came to Cebu for a short business trip. Of course, meeting family members means introducing good old Cebuano dishes. I mean going to Paolito STK Bai. Yes! You heard it right.

My Top 5 Reasons to Visit This Restaurant

1. The interiors / atmosphere

Truly, they showcase vintage art pieces ranging from furniture, table set up, antique picture frames and even more. Going there somehow gives you a glimpse of how Cebu looked like back in the day.

2. Foods

Of course, the foods they serve are delicious and  truly hit the spot. They are always recommended even by tour guides in and out of the country.

3. The price point

Though they have maintained the quality of their foods, I must say they prices are technically reasonable. Just a good balance of portion and price range. Besides, most of the foods are meant for sharing.

4. The variety of dishes

Yes to this. They have all sorts of foods from serving meat, seafoods, vegetable dishes and even good desserts and beverages. Truly they cater all kinds of people from young to old and both male and female alike.

5. Cleanliness and customer service

I must say that their cleanliness is really evident.  Everything is cleaned properly and decent enough. In addition, their staff is also approachable and accommodating. Truly, it feels like a second home.

Well, if you ask me, I really had a good time having a good conversation with family and ending it with a good kind of coffee. It really completed my day. Sometimes it's good to be offline and connect with your loved ones.  Moments like this always last a lifetime I believe.

Seafoods and Ribs Warehouse Restaurant at SM Seaside City Cebu

Welcome back to my blog. I'll bring you along with me as we explore this new restaurant in the city. The name is Seafoods and Ribs Warehouse Restaurant. It's famous for their seafoods and freshly cooked ingredients which customers can actually choose the kind of cooking according to their liking. 

Where is it located?

It's located in Skypark, 3rd floor, SM Seaside City Cebu, SRP, Cebu City .

1. Their house special - Their RIBS  (It comes with a side dish of veggies and mashed potato already)

Just do be careful with the prices though since the seafood prices depend on its weight per grams. Always ask and confirm the total price before having the foods cooked before you get a shock of your like. Just kidding though.

True that. By celebrating your birthdays at home means you can maximize your budget to prepare the foods and drinks that you want. An added bonus also is you can ask some friends and family to bring what foods they can share for everybody to enjoy. A win-win solution definitely.

Yes to this. Family time should be regarded as a priority these days. Spending your special events at home is always a good time to savor the moment and just have fun. That way, your relationship gets to be deeper and better as  time goes by.

I like this part right here. By preparing the foods and drinks at home means that you have this guarantee about the foods' quality and nutrition. We know how our foods are prepared and that is good enough to enjoy the party without the guilt-feeling afterwards.

Random Vlogging Day : International Travel Festival And Eating Japanese Foods Again

Sachi Authentic Japanese Ramen and Okonomiyaki + VLOG

After my trip to Japan, I've been on a hunt to find good Japanese foods that can be locally found here in Cebu City. I've found this restaurant online and their reviews are pretty much positive. I guess that was enough basis for us to try their dishes. Let's dig in. Friends, I will now introduce my food trip adventure in Sachi, an Authentic Japanese Ramen and Okonomiyaki restaurant.
