REVIEW: SKINFOOD VIVA WATERPROOF BRUSH PEN EYELINER in BROWN

Hello lovely people! How's your Sunday so far? Hope you have all taken enough rest. Anyhow, for today I am back with another review. I'll talk about this SKINFOOD Viva Waterproof Brush Pen Eyeliner in brown. Actually, I was drawn to buying this because the staff in Skinfoods' outlet in Myeong-dong., SK was very realistic and persuasive and I actually bought her story and bought the item as well. How lame. HAHA
I just hoped that I won't have any regrets buying it because it was somehow expensive,  10,000 WON (just my own opinion only)

This is how the product looks like with its packaging. It's very pretty and chic.

BEFORE I PUT ON THE EYELINER

AFTER I PUT ON THE EYELINER  ( Excuse my face ) ^ ^

PROS
- The felt tip of the liner is very soft making it easy to manage it especially for beginners.
- Also the color brown is a good choice for those who don't want to a very black liner.
- You can easily draw thick and thin lines according to your heart's desire.
-There is no strange scent of the product.
- Yes, it is waterproof and stays for hours.
- It can easily be removed using any products with oil unlike any other waterproof eyeliners in the market.

CONS
- The eyeliner tends to  crumble  and doesn't apply smoothly. I found out the reason. It was because of the heat and humidity of the house. haha
TIP : Store this liner inside the fridge to maintain  and restore its original quality, making it smooth to apply on the lids again.

- It easily dries fast while applying so you better be quick to apply and erase if there are some unintended lines whatsoever.
- It isn't advisable to layer the lines because it tends to wear off at time. The pile of lines on the lids tend to create some uneven  marks. :( Once or twice application is ok.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS

This is a good liner to use to those who are always on the go and especially for travel because it's very lightweight and easy to use but I won't repurchase this again. The price is quite ok. Now, I'm still on the lookout for good eyeliner in the market. If you have any recommendations, do let me know. I'd love to try and test new ones in the market.

Have a good week ahead guys.

REVIEW : It's Skin Power 10 Formula WH Effector

Hello guys! TGIF! How's your week? Hope you enjoy this weekend. I am back to write another review about It's Skin Power 10 Formula WH Effector. I purchased mine when I was in Korea. The thought it was a whitening serum was the main reason why I purchased it. haha. Kidding aside, I was amazed the first time I tried this product on my skin so instantly  I grabbed it.  It was around W 12,000 won but you can now buy it online through ALTHEA PH. It's only P390. Yes, much cheaper. Here's the link for you to check them out.

This is the white bottle that has a 30 ml serum inside it.

The serum comes in this white thick bottle with a  transparent medicine dropper making it easy to dispense the product.

WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

The WH effector is a whitening essence with arbutin to brighten up your skin tone and lighten pigmentation. It can control the activity of tyrosinase and inhibit the formation of melanin with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Prolonged usage of the WH effector is claimed to reveal brighter skin tone and reduce freckles and pigmentation.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?

Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Polyglutamic Acid, Arbutin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Ethyl Hexanediol, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Triethanolamine, Disodium Edta, Fragrance, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract

This is how the product looks on my hand. It's a bit watery compared to the other thick serum out in the market.

PROS
- I like how the product is easily absorbed on my skin.
- It's very lightweight to put on so you barely noticed it's there on the skin.
- You can apply it any dark or uneven  spots to any parts of your body.
- There is no scent to this whatsoever.
- The medicine dropper/ applicator makes it easy to apply the serum. You can also control how much or how little you want to use it.

CONS
- You can't buy it easily because it's just available online through some selected sites.
- You may not see instant results if your purpose is really to whiten your skin. However, if you apply this product on stubborn dark acne spots or any visible dark skin discoloration, then it  lightens the skin gradually like within 1 month of using it religiously.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS
If you're looking for a serum to whiten your skin then it's not the perfect product to use. It's only highly effective for stubborn dark spots on the skin like acne scars. However, I like mixing this serum with my BB cream for my everyday use.

FOODIES ALERT: Tarbush - Dumaguete

Hello everyone. How are you all feeling? Weekend is coming and I guess writing my review about a good food spot is quite the right timing.  I just went to Dumaguete city recently. I discovered this Lebanese- Meditteranean food hub  while searching the net. Of course, the shawarma  and pita bread lover in me automatically said that I had to be there to experience it myself.

WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
FYI: Got this from their facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/Tarbush-Dumaguete-1546181218933265/photos_stream

WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

It's a newly opened food store that serves Lebanese- Mediterranean foods. Hurra--aaay to healthier and good food alternatives. They serve their all time favorite shawarma in 3 varieties namely fish, beef and chicken. Yes, you heard it right, no pork allowed. ^ ^

You can also refer to the images about their menu .Their food ranges from P50 - 150-ish something so you don't need to worry about burning a hole in your pocket while eating there.

One thing, I noticed is how authentic the taste of the foods they serve. It's just my opinion but I guess that's their approach to dining, less usage of spices to fully savor the original taste of the foods. Thumbs up for that.

Here are our personal pictures there during Valentine's day 2016!! Quite a good experience for us.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS

PROS
1) The foods really taste authentic and simple yet so flavorful.
2.) Their price ranges are quite affordable and friendly especially to the students.
3.) Despite their cheap prices, the amount of servings is pretty big and enough to satisfy anyone's stomach.
4.)  I like their variety of foods that cater young to old diners.
5.) Also, they prepare the foods in front of you and that means you are guaranteed that they only serve fresh food ingredients.
6.) It's a healthy alternative to dining without sacrificing our taste palates.

CONS
1. The location is somewhat far from the center just like in the  Boulevard area.
2. The place is a little narrow and small so you better come early to choose a good location to eat.

GOOD JOB Tarbush- Dumaguete for a job well done. Next time I'll be in Dumaguete again, then I'll surely see you soon and eat there for sure.
