What's it about?

This comes in a white, clean and simple packaging.  It has a kind of zip-lock opening that keeps the patches inside clean and safe from dust.  Each set contains 24 patches  namely 9 large ones, 5 medium ones and 10 small patches. 

How To Use It?

-Cleanse the area around the acne blemishes and pimples.

-Select a patch that has an appropriate size and stick it to affected area.

-Do not replace the patch until the size of the acne and pimples get smaller so that the patch can fully absorb the impurities sufficiently.

My Personal Thoughts

• If you're looking for an instant and effective acne-control, then I'd recommend this. It instantly makes the size of acne smaller and prevents further irritation and infection at the same time.
• Don't be misguided about  this product. It doesn't heal/ cure the acne/ pimples like medicine. It only minimizes them somehow.
• If you have some sudden pimple appearance on the face, then use these patches. Since the color of these appears white, then you use it on top of your make up to conceal your skin trouble and at the same time, you're protecting that area from dust and bacteria.

Skin & Lab Dr.Bio Infusion Bio Activating Essence

Good day everyone. I am back to talk about a good skin care essential that everyone should try using. That is a good ESSENCE. Yes from the name itself, it is really a super essential component of the 10 steps of Korean skincare. What I have here is the Skin & Lab Dr. Bio Infusion Activating Essence.  Ok, let's get to the review itself.

The time indicator you can find on the bottle.  You can see it's divided per week. ( I don't take note of this at all. Opps.) 

The white stopper to avoid accidents. ^ ^

PACKAGING: It comes in this sleek glass bottle with a nice frosted finish. ( It is really expensive looking) I also comes with a white stopper to make you cover the hole to avoid leakage if ever.

Interesting fact : On the bottle itself, there is an indicator that show the schedule of usage. Cool enough.

TEXTURE: The essence is very light and it has clear white-ish fluid. It is easily absorbed by the skin also.

PROS

• It is easily absorbed  by the skin.
• It is very mild and gentle to use.
• It's fragrance-free also.
• The face feels fairer, smoother and firmer.
• With longer use about a month or so, the skin feels much brighter and hydrated at the same time.
• It is reasonably priced in my opinion.

CONS

• It didn't help me much with its anti-aging / anti-wrinkle benefits.
• It isn't easily available in the market.

My Personal Thoughts

I'm happy to say that I truly love love this product. It addresses my skin concerns and even exceeded my expectations. It helps with hydrating the skin, making it firmer, making it look brighter and evening my skin tone too. Plus, knowing there all good ingredients included in the bottle is a good relief that my skin is nourished and happy.  You should definitely check this out.

Photo Diary of My Camotes Island trip

Hello everyone! It's been raining here in Cebu constantly and I couldn't help myself from being gloomy a bit. Oh well, I just miss Mr. Sun and its warmth and sunshine I suppose. I just think we can always motivate ourselves and look forward to each new day with a positive disposition, right? This time, I'll have a throwback blog about my beach experience in Camotes Island. A good experience for me and a good reason to come back there soon. 

Let's go and now I present my photo diary about that experience.

How to get there?
1. Take a ferry from Danao port that is located an hour away from Cebu city itself.
TIP: Please buy tickets ahead of time especially if it's passenger season / peak season.


Where to stay?
In our case, we stayed in Santiago Bay Garden and Resort. Our reasons are as follows:

• reasonably priced rooms
• a good location 
• has a decent pool and white sand beach
• has a food station nearby to eat seafoods anytime

SUGGESTIONS for day tour and sightseeing

• Visit Mangodlong Beach

• Lake Danao

• Santiago Bay

• Timubo Cave

• Bukilat Cave

Overall, it was really a pleasant getaway and good place to detox from the daily schedule of the city. It's a good place for families and group of friends as well. Truly, it's always a good place to keep coming back and make new memories again. Till next time Camotes. I'll surely be back.

Chica Y Chico Matt Cushion in No.23 with SPF 35 PA ++

Hello everyone. I am back here with another new favorite and it's one of my recent discovery too. For the past few years, I've been a BB cream addict because of the good results it gives my skin. Then this matt cushion came and everything changed completely. Surprisingly, I am now a cushion foundation convert because of this product. I am talking about this Matt Cushion by Chica Y Chico. Let's get it started then.

MY PERSONAL PHOTOS

How it looks on my face. I just put this on and set it with a little mineral powder. 

PACKAGING: It comes in a circular black compact with mirror. It also comes with a good sponge and a plastic cap inside that prevents the product from drying. Interestingly, the packaging looks sturdy  enough but a little bulky which is common to a normal cushion foundation.

SHADE: I have mine in # 23 that is natural beige. Quite a good match to my skin. :)

TEXTURE: It sets pretty fast so putting this on needs some quick hands. At first, it is a bit sticky but once applied and blended, it feels smooth on the skin. Not thick at all. 

COVERAGE: It's between light to medium coverage. It's also very buildable. It just works great for me. Something light but has a good decent amount of coverage already.

PROS

• It really has a good packaging.
• It's very easy to apply and use.
• It's doesn't cake if you build it up if you want to achieve a full coverage look.
• It has a pretty good coverage.
• It has decent lasting power.
• It somehow minimizes the appearance of an oily T-zone a bit.
• It already includes a good SPF 35 PA ++

CONS

• It can only be purchased online so it's not easy to get a hold of this one yet.
• The range of the shades is very limited and somehow intimidating.

My Overall Thoughts

I'm pretty surprised how I am liking this product. It is just a good start to join the cushion foundation craze. I love how easy and fast it can be applied on the face. Plus, it gives me this healthy looking face. On some days, I feel very busy then this cushion is my life saver. :) I highly recommend this.
